Iâ€™m sure you have received those tempting ads that seem to arrive regularly in the post - seductive brochures showing a terrible before picture and a totally reformed person with a much happier outlook after they lost so much weight with their â€œrevolutionary programâ€. They push diet pills, patches and potions promising miracles to tempt you to part with you hard earned cash. They show you documented â€œscientificâ€ proof. They even have the endorsements by medical and scientific "experts" to back up their claims.

Before spreading your legs you should check out the salon beforehand to make sure it is hygienic and that the aesthetician is licensed. The license is normally displayed somewhere on the walls as is required by the local governments.

You should also check that fresh bed covering is used for each client and that the waxing supplies are sanitized and disposed of in a hygienic way after use. The worst thing that could happen is you catching some STDs from the dirty hygiene practices of the beautician.

The question that begs to be asked is why Brazilian Waxing is so popular? Many just enjoy the clean feeling that comes with being hairless. Some who did it just to wear a bikini now keep it up because "it just feels great"! Not forgetting the whole free as a baby feel too!

what is the best way to do WAXING at home?

also, how to prepare wax at home,let me know what is the easiest method to wax legs and hands?
I saw in the movie "caramel", the ladies at the saloon use suger syrup(caramel) directly on the body(without waxing strip), is that less painful?

Use a store bought waxing kit, otherwise you'll probably just end up in a lot of pain and not a lot of hair gone.

I use Sally Hanson's cold wax, and I just spread it where I want and put a strip over it and wait a moment. Then pull, REALLY fast, or it hurts more than necessary.

Having someone in the family or a friend pull it helps alot.
