Well, I've been pretty sloppy in recent years until I toured Japan last December. I realised that I've been really dressing badly like a hag when I should be dressing well and appropriately for work. Anyway, I changed my dressing style and focused more on creating a professional look.
First of all,kudos for you for creating a more professional look! For me, daily personal grooming is very important, but depending on what day it is I'll do more or less. My hair's crucial, I like to shower every other day, but for makeup, I'm a natural girl. Just some lip gloss, foundation and a touch of mascara. I love fashion and picking out clothes, but as much as I like to look glamorous, it's also important for me to look casual. I like for my skin to feel clear and smooth, so I use lotion and wash my hands a ton.
I know how you feel about dressing like a hag, I've been there. But know, that you're body is the most valuable thing you have, so take good care of it! Hope this helps!
