I have a hairy chest and I have hair grown on stomach, around belly and shoulders.?

I have a hairy chest and I have hair grown on stomach, around belly and shoulders.its soft hair but I would like to remove it (or make it less grown) with the best method. one of my friends told me to use a Hair Trimmer used by the barber to remove neck hair.. and that this will NEVER .cause increase in hair growth.. so hair will take time to grow again and with the same old amount NOT MORE.is that true? What is the best way to make the hair less in those areas? How long will it last after using Hair Trimmer? What if I use the electrical Braun 7505 http://www.pickeringappliance.com/images/75057505.jpg razor I use for my beard?

Please advise me with the best solution so that I don't have more hair growth in those areas!

Your friend is wrong. The hair DO grows back again! You have to trim it once i a while if you want to keep it at short length. I don't know if you've heard about the Bodygroom, it works better than regular hair trimmers, check it out: http://norelcobodygroom.synthasite.com/
