Hard wax is the kind that sticks to the hair and not the skin. Go to http://www.gigi.aiibeauty.info/?q=node/16 and you will find all kinds of waxes. The Mimosa Film wax is one of my favorite hard waxes. You can also go to Sally's Beauty Supply or some other professional supply store to find the wax. I hope this helps!
