help with flat ironing hair?

well basically i flat iron my hair alot..not so much that it causes automatic damage,but when i 1st straighten it,it looks super straight! but after mabey 15-20 minutes the ends of my hair (only in the back) get this weird hump and my ends go under,and i just want my ends to go straight and flat out! and then my hair again(in the back only) gets kinda poofy only at the ends.! also my ends do need some restorage and i have tried everything! hot oil treatments,cutting off my split ends! nothing helps! all im asking is for some advice on split ends and advice on products to use.bedhead did work but i cant afford it every single time...so please something not so pricey!

Your best bet is to use products that work with flat irons. The brand "Chi" makes a great line of products for use with flat irons. Another option is to take a look at the quality of flat iron that you are using. Some use basic metal plates and are the least expensive but harshest on your hair and the hold of style isn't so great. The best have ceramic plates. The ceramic heats as hot as hot can be which will flatten out even the hardest waves and keep em there. The great thing about the ceramic as well is that because it gets so hot you don't need to keep running it over your hair to straighten it, which cuts out alot of damage. If you use the products as well it will protect your hair and keep extra air moisture off (which creates the frizz).
