I Learned How To Cut Kids Hair And Saved A Fortune

These days it can cost a small fortune to visit the hairdresser. If you have ever lived through the nightmare that is a visit to the hairdressers with 2 small children then you will know all to well the stress thats involved. Its little surprise then that more and more people are learning how to cut kids hair. The biggest surprise for me though was that when I looked into it, I found that its not nearly as difficult as it seems at first glance. as you might imagine one of the biggest challenges was to get them simply to sit still.

I still didn't trust myself enough to dive straight in though, and I don't think they would ever have forgiven me if I had.

Keeping the scissors out of sight I calmed them down and then let my creative juices flow - I had just started to cut kids hair!. The only other thing I invested in was a pair of half decent hairdressers scissors, no point ruining the garden shears just yet! Less than 20 minutes later, and a lot less stress than a visit to you know where - n fact I think the kids enjoyed it as much as I did - and we were all done.

My new found skills have now been honed with several more visits to 'daddys hair salon' and I have saved a small fortune - I definitely don't regret learning to cut kids hair - in fact it was one of the best investments I have ever made.
