Vinegar has a lot of purposes in our kitchen. But to use it as a cleaning tool is just plain genius. Not only can you use this to get rid of stains on your upholstery or carpet, you can also use this to clean your home coffee maker.

Basically, it works well in reducing the molds and mildew inside the brewer. It dissolves the gunk, unseats them in their hiding place and washes them off. In addition to that, it is also a great way of dissolving lime deposits that have accumulated inside your brewer as a result of the minerals in your water source. If your coffee maker is in dire need of cleaning, here are some helpful steps that can make your work easier:

Step 1: Prepare white vinegar. Combine one parts of white vinegar with one parts of water. The total amount of solution should equal the amount of water you normally use when you are using your machine. If you have not cleaned your machine for quite some time now, you might want to make the solution a bit stronger by combining two parts of vinegar with one parts of water.

Step 2: Pour the solution to the water tank of your brewer. Replace the water tank in the machine. What you are doing is brewing the solution. You still need to put paper filters if your brewer does not use permanent filters. Also put the coffee basket so the parts are complete. The only thing missing in the cycle is the coffee beans.

Step 3: Now set up the programmable functions of your machine. Set it up to the strongest setting and allow the machine to pass the vinegar solution inside it. You will start to see the gunk being washed away into the carafe. Once the full cycle is finished, discard the contents of the carafe.

Step 4: Fill up the water tank again but this time, fill it up with pure water only. Your goal is to clean the inside of the brewer further and get rid of the remnants of the vinegar solution.

Step 5: When this is already finished, discard the contents of the carafe again. Let the machine cool down for a little bit and the discard the used paper filters. Remove the water tank, coffee basket and the carafe and wash it in soapy water. Let it dry. Wipe the coffee machine with a clean towel before attaching the detachable parts again.

I need blade for hand blender from where can i get in delhi?

braun hand blender mentons 300w. it has a chopper with detachable blade i had lost that so am unable to use the chopping

Check any local household appliance distributor or repair shop - they should be able to fix it.

There is nothing sophisticated about these blades, anybody should be able to fix it. If you had a sample blade or a picture, a machine shop could probably even make a new one at a minimal cost, if you have good contacts.
