Smeg is a brand that we have come to accept the United Kingdom over the past 3 decades, but its history goes back much further than that. Indeed, one of Smeg oldest brands available on the market today, and remains true to its Italian roots.

The reason most of us know is Smeg because of its long range of different colors of America 50, a fridge-freezer style. Smeg fridges have accounted for the majority sales for them over the past 30 years Europe and beyond.

In 1948, Vittoria Bertazzoni founded Smeg. The company was then and is still now based near the town of Guastalla, in the region Reggio Emilia in Italy.
