Help with thermoscan themometer?
i dont feel good at all and im home alone and my dad temperature. i have a thermoscan thermomeeter made by braun. its the one you put in your ear. and your supposed to have the little replacement thing to put over it after each use. welll, we either ran out, or they got misplaced and i DONT wanna use it without it, ew.

is there anything else i could use over it? like a plastic walmart bag? or a ziploc? or will it interfere with the temperature reading?

PLEAAASE help. my dad wants me to take it now.

Yes, so many horrible diseases are spread by ear-to-ear contact. Anything that transmits infrared can be used - if it doesn't block your TV remote, then it won't interfere with the thermometer.

Or, you could just wash the sensor. While you're at it, wash your dad. If his ears have something "ew" in them, he could use a good scrub.
