Your experience with using an epilator?

So Im bidding on a Braun Silk Epil Xpressive Wet & Dry Epilator, and I was doing a bit of reading around, it had raving reviews so I thought "Hey why not".
I was reading a board about peoples experience with using epilators, and someone said that they suffered from scarring and ingrown hairs, though she hadnt used the same model Im ordering.

Im a little worried now - how common is getting ingrown hairs from using an epilator? How easy are they to treat? I dont think ive ever had one before, and they sound awful. ._.
So whatre your experiences with using an epilator? Good/bad? xD

i would get the 5270 instead
its basically the same thing

the expressive just comes with a few extra heads
and is cordless
which in my opinion is a bad idea
it only lasts 40 min on a charge
which is nowhere near enough time to do a complete epilation

ingrown hairs will happen
just exfoliate often to prevent them
you will still get them here and there
but dont pick at them
just keep on exfoliating and eventually theyll come out
