What electric shaver actually works?

I have tried three different ones now a remington r330, braun series 3 390cc and another but cant think of the name they all shave the face good enough but when you shave your neck they are useless it takes about half an hour as all the hair seems to point different directions also they don't shave longer hairs and some times pull them out which is painful. once you have bought them and used them you cant return them so there is no way of testing shavers.

what about a norelce with those floating heads? i heard they are pretty good.
