Why is it house usually has three electric fans, while the fan motor license more.

I wonder why fans home with three electric bills. (Normal) while the engine. One fan found in our cars than it is related. airflow or not, or is it just leaves more heavy and larger than necessary and effective tool? Why is it still that of an electric fan will vary some. 3,4, etc?
