Andis hair clipper company was launched in 1921 by Mathew Andis, Sr. He has built a working model of an electric lawnmower which was much smaller and lighter weight than others in selling time. His family met the Clippers first in the basement of his home Racine, Wisconsin. It was sold door to door to the hairdressers and salons in the area of Racine.

Hello, I plan to clip of a good professional. I am looking for something that will work reliably over time and to a good amount of energy. I was watching Wahl, Oster and Andis. Which version would you recommend? One of the better brands. Other recommendations and suggestions, please experience.

Certainly not Andis! Andis is cheaper, but yes. All clipper or trimmer I purchased stopped working within the month or two. Clipper best out there Oster Classic 76 ... it is. clipper very expensive but worth every money. If Oster will be out of your price range. Wahl Senior ... can see only against. This clipper it very hard.
